Pix4d MAPPER
Pix4D’s advanced photogrammetry software uses the images captured by drones to generate 3D models and maps used by geospatial professionals such as surveyors and civil engineers. The leading photogrammetry software for professional drone mapping, Pix4d Mapper turns your images into highly precise, geo-referenced 2D maps and 3D models, using images to generate point clouds, digital surface and terrain models, orthomosaics, textured models and more. The maps are customisable, timely, and complement a wide range of applications and software.
The software obtains survey-grade results with sub-centimetre accuracy: 1-2 pixel GSD in X, Y directions 1-3 pixels GSD in the Z direction. Surveyors maintain complete control over their project by defining an area of interest, selecting processing options, adding ground control points or editing point clouds, DSMs, meshes and orthomosaics. Default templates are available for automatic processing or custom settings for full control of quality, data, and projects. Providing support for virtually every known spatial file format as well as direct access to common spatial databases, this remarkable application can read, write, and analyze virtually all spatial data.
The Lidar Module includes a convenient toolbar to streamline the classification of selected points with a single button click. This toolbar includes buttons for the most common classification types including ground, vegetation, and buildings. Additionally, selected points can be manually edited and assigned to any of the ASPRS lidar classification types using the Digitizer’s edit function.
