Our team have developed a comprehensive range of Service Plans to ensure your UAV is fit to be deployed when needed.

Just like a car, a drone requires a regular service to ensure the machinery continues to operate at its best. As the only DJI-certified Repairs Centre in Aotearoa, our team of experienced technicians are trained to locate any potential issues and provide ongoing preventative care specifically for your craft.

Nobody wants unplanned downtime on a job. Ferntech UAV Service Plans provide peace of mind that your UAV will perform to its full potential every time you fly.

For those who are required to maintain their craft for Part 102 certification, Ferntech can provide Part 102 compliant inspections and service.

REPAIRS AND SERVICE

Although our craft are built with the latest technology to minimise crashes, accidents can happen — and if they do, it’s good to know that our in-house Repairs and Service Centre are here to help. We have a full-time, local Repairs and Service team with dedicated, qualified technicians who work hard to ensure that your craft will be back in the sky as soon as possible.

By buying through Ferntech, your repair will be covered under a local warranty and therefore can be assessed at our Repairs and Service Centre. If it cannot be repaired by us, we send the craft back to DJI HQ to ensure the craft is restored to the best possible condition.


REGULAR Drone SERVICE PLAN

The drones we supply are high-performance, commercial-grade UAVs relied on by many commercial customers. Ensure your drone is returning on it's investment with a regular service. We recommend that a full health check is conducted every 12 months for optimal performance.

Our trained technicians will assess, calibrate and clean your craft, locating and fixing any potential issues in the process. We perform a test flight after the service to ensure the craft is operating optimally. Each service is accompanied with our maintenance certificate. All Ferntech services comply with CAA 102 requirements and come with a maintenance certificate.

Enterprise Shield

Included with your purchase* is a comprehensive 12-month cover through Enterprise Shield. This plan allows for up to two replacement UAVs in 12 months, regardless of the extent or cause of damage. You can also upgrade to a premium cover plan which will cover your craft and payloads for 24 months.

  • Yes, we offer customised service plans to cater to your needs. Simply email us on repairs@ferntech.co.nz to discuss your ideal service plan and we’ll see what we can do.

  • Our repair centre is located the Ferntech headquarters in Auckland. Our address is 96 New North Road, Eden Terrace, Auckland, 1021.

  • We recommend using a tracked courier service to ensure your drone arrives with us safely and quickly.

  • If your drone needs to be returned, we deliver it quickly with our trusted courier service and add the cost of postage to your invoice. North Island deliveries are normally $50.00 and South Island deliveries are normally $70.00.

  • Yes, we offer Training Packages for many of our drones. Email our Commercial Solutions team at commercial@ferntech.co.nz or call us on 09 399 2084 to find out more about our training packages.
